1. Who we are
GRID13.AI (“Grid13”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is operated by grid13ai, Inc., a company registered in the United States. Our address is 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, Delaware 19713, United States.
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information about people who visit our website, request reports, contact us, create accounts or use our article, publishing and reporting services. Contact support@grid13.ai with a privacy question or request.
This notice explains our practices; reading it or using the website is not, by itself, permission for every optional use of your information.
2. Information we collect
Account and contact information
We collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, business details and, where requested, phone number. This includes information submitted when you request a report, book a meeting, contact support or open an account. Our sign-in provider, Clerk, handles sign-in and supplies account identifiers and related account information.
Your business and content
We collect the website address, business description, competitors, keywords, instructions and other material you provide to create articles and reports. This can include uploaded images, documents, chat messages, article drafts and published content. Information you submit can contain personal details, so avoid including sensitive information that is not needed for the work.
Payments
Stripe processes payments. We receive information needed to manage purchases and subscriptions, such as customer, subscription and invoice references, payment amounts, currency, payment status, plan information and billing contact details. We do not store your full payment-card number.
Connected services
If you connect a supported service, we receive the information and permissions needed for the features you authorize. Depending on the connection, this can include website traffic and search performance, blog articles, publishing settings and related website information. Section 5 explains connected-service use.
Visits and activity
We collect information about visits, page views, actions, errors and performance to understand use of the service and investigate problems. This can include device and browser information, approximate location, the page or campaign that brought you to us, visit identifiers and the website you submit for a report. Visit recordings are described separately below.
3. How and why we use information
- To create and protect accounts, provide the service and respond to support requests.
- To analyze the website you submit, prepare reports, generate and edit content, and publish it when authorized.
- To process purchases, manage subscriptions and credits, correct billing issues and meet accounting duties.
- To deliver requested reports and necessary account, payment, security and service notices.
- To understand how the service is used, find problems and improve it.
- To send promotional follow-up according to the permission you give and the choices described in section 4.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our agreement or taking steps you request before entering it, meeting legal duties, consent for uses requiring it, and legitimate interests where permitted for operating, protecting and improving the service. Those interests must be balanced against your rights. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier use made with that consent.
4. Reports, support and promotional emails
When you request a report or contact us, we use your details to provide that response. Where you agree to tips and offers, we also use your details for that promotional follow-up. A request for help or an account payment is not blanket permission for unrelated promotions.
You can stop promotional emails through the unsubscribe option in a message or by contacting support@grid13.ai. We keep the information needed to honor that choice. Opening an account again does not by itself reverse an earlier refusal to receive offers.
Necessary account, billing, security, legal and blog-removal notices are separate from promotions and may still be sent when promotional emails are stopped. They will not include promotional offers. Prospect and support communication uses support@grid13.ai.
Where a meeting is recorded, we will explain that before recording and obtain any permission required by law.
5. Google and other services you connect
When you connect Google Search Console or Google Analytics, Grid13 reads the authorized properties and reporting information, such as search terms, impressions, clicks, search position, visits, traffic sources and page performance, to provide the connected features.
We use connected information only for the purposes disclosed to you and permitted by the relevant service. Our use of Google information must comply with Google’s user-data requirements, including applicable Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data or use it for unrelated advertising.
To answer questions about your connected website, our customer chat can send relevant Google Analytics and Search Console reporting information to Anthropic, the provider of Claude. This can include traffic summaries, search terms and page performance. This processing supports the answer or analysis you request; it is not for advertising or training general-purpose AI models.
You may disconnect a service through its own permission settings or the available Grid13 controls. Disconnecting ends new access through that connection and removes the stored credentials used for it. We delete retained Google reporting copies within 90 days of disconnection, subject to a specific legal requirement to keep a record.
For Shopify, we use the permissions granted for the publishing and website features you authorize. Uninstalling ends access through that connection and removes its stored credentials.
6. AI-assisted work
We use AI services to help generate articles, images, reports and responses. Relevant business descriptions, instructions, topics, keywords, submitted content and conversation context may be included in the request needed to carry out that work. These inputs can contain personal information you supplied; we do not claim that every request is free of personal details.
We do not use customer content to train general-purpose AI models, and our AI providers do not use the customer content we send them to train their general-purpose models. This is separate from using information to produce the answer or article you requested. AI providers process this information to deliver the requested service and may retain limited copies for security, abuse prevention and legal obligations under their applicable service terms.
7. Visit recordings and advertising measurement
We use PostHog and, on supported scan journeys, Mixpanel and Microsoft Clarity to measure website and app use and record visits for replay. A replay can show viewed pages, clicks, scrolling and some information typed into forms. PostHog is configured to hide password fields and specially marked content. Ordinary typed fields are not all hidden, so recordings can contain the details you enter.
Recordings help us understand problems and improve the experience. We limit access to authorized people who need recordings for support, investigating problems and improving the service.
Advertising measurement can use services such as Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel to understand visits and actions associated with campaigns. Permission to receive promotional email is separate from permission required for recording or advertising technologies. Reading this policy or continuing to browse does not replace consent where the law requires it. You may contact support@grid13.ai to exercise applicable privacy rights. Browser settings can restrict some cookies, but may not stop all measurement or recording.
9. Where information is handled
Our company is registered in the United States. Information may be handled in countries where our authorized staff and service providers operate. The location of one hosting service does not mean that every recording, email, AI request or backup stays in that country.
Information may be processed in the United States, Israel, the European Union and other countries where our service providers operate. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use the required arrangements, such as approved contractual protections. Contact support for information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
10. How long we keep information
Accounts with paid access
The countdown starts when paid access ends, not when you press Cancel. Returning to a paying plan before the deadline stops the scheduled removal.
We retain the related account information and keep your Grid13-hosted blog online during that period. If you do not return to a paying plan, we close the hosted address and remove the account and associated service data. Any longer deadline already expressly promised to you will be honored.
You can save the articles and images you want directly from the published blog pages during the grace period. We do not promise a separate article-export or migration feature. This does not limit your legal rights to request personal information.
Free-report requests
For someone who requests a free scan report and does not become a paying customer, we retain the report, submitted information and related prospect record for 90 days from the date of the report request. We then delete that information, subject to the limited exceptions below. This does not create a paid subscription or promise ongoing reports, articles or blog hosting.
If you become a paying customer before that deadline, information needed for your account follows the paid-account rule above. A new report request has its own request date; merely visiting the website or opening an email does not restart the period for an earlier report.
Limited exceptions and copies
We keep only the records needed for a specific lawful purpose beyond ordinary deletion, such as legally required accounting records and information needed to honor a marketing opt-out. These exceptions do not justify keeping an entire account indefinitely or reusing retained records for promotions.
Financial records are retained for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law. Deletion from active systems may precede removal from protected backups; retained backup copies are not used for ordinary service or marketing and are removed through the backup replacement cycle, subject to legal preservation duties. Providers may retain records they independently need to meet legal or security obligations. Removing an account does not remove copies of public articles already saved by other people.
A valid request for earlier deletion can be made through support, subject to applicable legal duties and exceptions.
11. Security and staff access
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse and disclosure. We keep customer information separate and allow authorized staff access only as needed to provide support, operate the service or address security issues, with appropriate access records.
No internet service can promise perfect security. You should protect your sign-in details and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
12. Your choices and privacy rights
Email support@grid13.ai to ask for access to, correction of, a copy of or deletion of your personal information. We may ask for information needed to confirm your identity and protect another person’s information.
We aim to complete requests within 30 days, or sooner where applicable law requires. If the law permits an extension or requires us to keep particular records, we will explain the reason and applicable timing. A response is not the same as completed deletion, and we will make the status clear.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also withdraw consent, object to certain uses, ask for processing to be restricted, request a portable copy or complain to your local data-protection authority. You can stop promotional email without cancelling your account. Where information is necessary to provide a service you request, deleting it may mean that service can no longer be provided.
If we process information on a business customer’s instructions, a request about that information may need to be handled with that customer. We will explain the appropriate contact and assist as required.
13. Children
Grid13 is a business service for people aged 18 or older. We do not intend to collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact support so we can investigate and take the appropriate action.
14. Changes to this policy
GRID13.AI reserves the right, at its discretion, to amend or update this Privacy Policy from time to time, subject to applicable law and the notice requirements below. An update does not by itself authorize a new use of personal information or replace consent where consent is required.
We will state when an updated policy takes effect. Before a material change, we will give at least 14 days’ notice by email and an in-app notice, consistent with our Terms, and retain the earlier wording.
Where a new use requires fresh permission, notice or continued use of the service does not replace that permission. Essential legal notices are separate from promotional email preferences.
